Annotation:
The human brain is the organ coordinating and regulating all life functions of organism and behavior controlling. All our thoughts, feelings, sensations, desires and movements associated with the brain work, and if it does not functioning, the person goes into a vegetative state: lost the ability to any actions, feelings or reactions to external exposure. This essay is dedicated to the human brain, the more complex and highly organized than the brain of animals. However, there are significant similarity in the apparatus of the human brain and other mammals, as, indeed, most vertebrate species. Memory is ability to reproduce previous experience, one of the principal properties of the nervous system, reflected in the ability of long-term storage of information about the events of outside world and the reactions of the body and repeatedly enter it in sphere of consciousness and behavior. Memory capacity, durability and reliability of information storage, as well as the ability to perceive complex signals of environment and to develop the adequate responses, increases in the course of evolution, with increasing of the nerve cells number in the brain and the complexity of its structure.
