High-performance liquid chromatographic separation of enantiomers of weak chiral acids using polysaccaride-type chiral selectors and normal phase eluents
Author: Nino NadirashviliAnnotation:
Separation of enantiomers of chiral weak acids was studied in high-performance liquid chromatography using polysaccharide-based chiral selectors and normal phase eluents. Chiral column based on cellulose tris(4-chloro-3-methylphenylcarbamate) (Cellulose-4) exhibited highest chiral recognition ability towards studied analytes ouder experimental conditions of this study. From the studied mobile-phases that one with the composition n-hexane/2-propanol/formic acid 70/30/0.1 % (v/v/v) showed to be most suitable. Interesting examples of enantiomer elution order reversal based on composition of the chiral selector and mobile phase were observed
