Separation of enantiomers of chiral arylpropionic acid derivatives in high-performance liquid chromatography using polysaccharide-based chiral selectors and polar organic mobile phases
Author: tatia kakhuashviliAnnotation:
Arylpropionic acid derivatives represent an important group of antiiflamatory drugs. The difference in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics properties of enantiomers of arylpropionic acid derivatives is well known. In earlier studies the separation of enantiomers of chiral arypropionic acid derivatives has investigated with normal-phase and reversed-phase eluents while the separations with polar organic mobile phases has not studied earlier. In the present thesis the separation of chiral arylpropionic acid derivatives with 6 polysaccharide-based chiral selectors and 3 polar organic mobile phases was studied. Interesting examples of the reversal of enantiomer elution order based on the mobile phase and chiral selector have been reported.
