North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) is one of the mode of large-scale interaction between atmosphere and ocean. It impacts on synoptic processes and weather in non equatorial latitude of North Hemisphere. This phenomenon represents the quantitative features interaction between centres of action (Icelandic low and Azores high) in northern part of Atlantic Ocean. Studying of NAO as well as atmosphere circulation is based on using of some indexes that determines their circulation structure. Calculation of monthly indices of NAO index is made according to data analyzes of pressure and geopotential fields. NAO is characterised by Positive and negative indexes. Intensity and geographical distribution of synoptic processes during the positive and negative phases of NAO is given in the paper. Future tendencies of its variation and impact of this variation on regional climate is also determined.
