Petrographic-petrological peculiarity, A

Annotation:

Small, intruded (veined) magmatic bodies are greatly detected, more less effusive foundations (lava flow and flattening), represented mainly by diabasic rocks in lower foliaceous-terrigenous sediments on the territory of thither area of river Alazani of Kakheti. Their distribution area is separated under the name of Kakheti Diabasic Belt. Numerous occurrences of copper-polymetallic mineralization are connected to the mentioned belt. According to the modern ideas, Kakheti Diabasic Belt is heterogeneous structure; dykes and silles distributed here, are developed with close association of different-aged (stage) effusive formations and are representing their subvolcanic analogies. Three complexes of effusive-subvolcanic rocks are specified: Hettangian- Sinemurian-early Pliensbachian, upper Pliensbachian-lower Toarcian and Aalenian-lower Bajocian. All of them represent independent magmatic formation and accordingly: antidromic rhyolite – dacite-andesite-basaltic, with Na-Basalts and contract Basalt –rhyolitic. Sulphide deposits with different material composition and scaled stratiform and inherited stratiform are genetically connected with these formations. Object of our research represents one section of diabasic belt, alongside with river Kabala valley; veined layers of diabasic rocks represented in this mentioned cut section are characterized by great mineralogical and textural-structural varieties. On basis of petrographic study, different types of rocks are specified. Compared with petrochemical specifications of silicate analyze data of the mentioned rocks, under petrochemical specifications of different type volcanites we have an opportunity to belonging it to effusive-subvolcanic complex of upper Pliensbachian – lower toarcian, which belongs to formation of Na basalts. Results of performed research can be used for the prognosis of copper-polymetall orebody in the basin of river Kabali.
